About me and my therapy practice
I’ve been a counsellor and supervisor for almost 20 years. I have experience of offering counselling and supervision in a Higher Education setting, within the charitable sector and in private practice.
I completed my counselling training, and supervision qualification, with the University of Edinburgh many years ago. My training was in the dialogue between Person-Centred and Psychodynamic theory and I draw on both in my practice. I'm particularly interested in unconscious motivations and in how early attachments impact on present relationships.
In addition to my original training I'm also trained in EMDR.
Practice description
