I am a UKCP and BACP registered psychotherapist and qualified clinical supervisor. I provide supervision to both trainee and qualified counsellors/therapists. My approach to supervision is integrative and transpersonal. I provide a balance of support and challenge to enable the unfolding of your unique way of working as a therapist/counsellor and the development of your own internal supervisor. I am also an EMDR therapist and have particular expertise in anxiety, trauma and PTSD.

I offer an empathic, non-judgemental space in which you can talk in confidence about whatever is troubling you. Expertise in anxiety, depression, relationship issues, PTSD, developmental trauma and addiction. I also specialise in working with dreams and finding meaning in life. I work creatively (eg with drawing, voice, movement, visualisations) in therapy sessions, if this is something that we both agree will be helpful. I am a mediation teacher and am happy to integrate meditation into therapy sessions if this is useful for clients.

The first session is an opportunity for you to give me an idea of the issue or problem you are dealing with and see how comfortable you feel talking with me. There is no need to go into detail at this point and everything we discuss is done so confidentially. I will let you know how I can help and we can discuss ways of working together. As an integrative therapist I can offer a range of approaches to deal with whatever issues or difficulties you bring to therapy. There is no obligation to continue on after the first session, you are welcome to spend a few days reflecting before getting back to me to let me know if you wish to go ahead. We then contract for a few sessions - typically 5 or 6 - and review how the work is going before continuing on if necessary.
