About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced BACP accredited Counsellor. I provide a safe and supportive professional environment in which supervisees may bring their client work, explore ethical issues and develop professionally. I offer creative, integrative supervision to therapists, trainees and other non-counselling professionals which involves client facing work.
I adopt an integrative approach using person-centred, existential & solution-focussed work. My supervision style follows Hawkins & Shohet approach as set out in "Supervision in the Helping Professions". Since qualifying as a counsellor, I have had private clients across the age groups. I have considerable experience of working within schools and pastoral settings. I hold a Masters in Counselling Studies (2006) & a Diploma in Supervision (2012).

About me and my therapy practice
I aim to ensure that the client has a physical and emotional ‘space’ to be heard and understood and their particular needs met. I am an integrative counsellor and I primarily integrate person-centred and gestalt modalities. I believe that empathy and the therapeutic relationship are central to my way of working and the cornerstone to the way I practice, and the gestalt approach brings an added dimension of working in the present and being creative.
I strive to be a good listener with an ability to ‘hold’ difficult stories which helps the client to feel safe and share concerns. I can support you in identifying the barriers in making better life choices.
I work across a range of ages between teenager to older age. I have worked extensively with loss, attachment, abuse, trauma, relationship and spirituality issues.
