About me and my therapy practice
I'm an accredited Supervisor with COSRT and offer sessions to trainees and students who are training or have trained in different modalities. My original counsellor training was with Relate as a couples counsellor, psychosexual therapist and trainer. I moved on to work in the NHS as part of a sexual health service and have also worked in organisations as a workplace counsellor in a national arts organisation and a large local authority as well as being in private practice.
My experience of working in different settings and organisations and my understanding of therapists holding dual roles such as counsellor, counsellor/clinical manager, and mental health practioner, I hope helps supervisees explore their own practice in a variety of ways whatever setting they work in. I work in an integrative way combining a variety of approaches but mostly using humanistic and psychodynamic theories. I endeavour to enable and facilitate supervisees to explore their work in a safe way.
I can offer on-line and face-to-face supervision.

About me and my therapy practice
I'm an accredited member of BACP and I’m an accredited psychosexual therapist and relationship counsellor with COSRT. I offer therapy to couples and individuals who wish to talk about their relationships and sexual lives and to explore any difficulties within them.
Some of the relationship problems I work with include communication issues, affairs, separation and divorce, anxiety about dating, parenting issues, body confidence concerns.
Some of the sexual difficulties I can help with include loss of desire, erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, fear or avoidance of sex, painful intercourse, problems with arousal, impact of sexual abuse, compulsive behaviours and substance and pornography use.
I trained and worked for Relate for over ten years and have worked in a variety of settings including the NHS, workplaces and private practice.
I help clients to find a way to achieve what they want from therapy and to identify and change habits and behaviours. I work in a safe, professional way to explore and achieve personal goals.
I understand how difficult it may seem to seek help and support for such deeply personal matters but I provide a neutral space to build trust and a working relationship to help improve my client’s lives. I have a flexible approach to sessions and welcome clients, inviting them to set the pace for what they wish to discuss. I meet with clients online and face-to-face in Essex.
