About me and my therapy practice
I have a Diploma in supervision from the Link Centre, which complemented my Humanistic therapeutic style. I see the supervisor/supervisee relationship integral to any work we conduct with our clients. It is essential that a supervisor has as Mazzetti states an effective emotional contact with the supervisee to best support them with their client work. As a supervisor I see my role as walking alongside the therapist and their client, observing the process, highlighting any blocks or parallels and supporting the process.
I supervise individuals and groups within the NHS and use Shohet and Hawkins Seven-Eyed Model and Mazzetti’s Supervision in Transactional Analysis: An Operational Model. These models have shaped my understanding of the supervision process but my experience of my supervisees and the need to focus on the relationships informs how our supervision hour runs.

About me and my therapy practice
I offer therapy which is essentially about finding out what is affecting you, the client. I trained as a Humanistic therapist but have found that a range of interventions may need to be employed to help get to the root of the problem.
We work with what you bring and I help you make sense of it and make changes to move forward.
Practice description
I offer short term, solution-focused therapy about specific issues, typically lasting about 6-10 sessions. Or I offer longer term, open ended therapy, if you need time to explore a range of issues. I am experienced in working with depression and anxiety and can help find ways to alleviate your symptoms.
I also offer couples therapy, having recently completed a further certificate in relationship therapy with The Tavistock Institute.
As an accredited Humanistically trained counsellor, I am recognised by training institutes to offer appropriate therapy to trainees. I am experienced in the expectations required of student counsellors and am able to work with the accompanying stresses of this difficult process. I offer extended hours and weekend appointments to fit in with the balancing act of the course requirements, supervision, a placement and personal development.
My first session
I offer a free thirty minute assessment. This is an opportunity for both myself and you, the client to see if we can work together. After this session I offer weekly or fortnightly sessions which are 50 minutes long.
