About me and my therapy practice
I have been practising as a Supervisor for over 16 years working in Private Practice and as a Clinical Director for a major charity.
I work within a humanistic framework and specialise in working with counsellors working in schools and in charitable organisations as well as counsellors working with adults
My supervision work is collaborative, supportive and informative and my commitment to you is that I will endeavour to support you in the best interests of the client.
I ensure that your contracting with clients and organisations are robust, as well as ensuring that safe guarding of vulnerable clients is at the foundation of our work.
I offer an initial free session where we can discuss what you expect from supervision and explore how I work in relation to you and your clients.

About me and my therapy practice
I have worked as a counsellor for nearly 20 years. When I work with you I put you at the heart of the work. We work together at your pace and towards your outcomes - even if initially it may be hard to know what they are.
We can discuss your therapy at a free initial meeting - where we can both assess your hopes for counselling.
I work with adults, couples, children and young people. I specialise in - relationship issues, self confidence, adult survivors of sexual abuse, anxiety, loss and low mood.
I have over 11,000 client hours and continue to be enthusiastic and passionate about my work. I ensure that I continue my training and personal development and to this end I have established a CPD group for other counsellors. I have a private practice and also work with charities, BUPA and Aviva.
I have a background as a PR Director, police officer and teacher and I think my wide experience supports my work with clients
My qualifications include an Advanced Diploma in Humanistic counselling, Post Grad Diploma in Counselling Children and Young People, EMDR, training in CBT and Mindfulness and Supervision.
I am an Associate Member of the Royal Society of Medicine.
