About me and my therapy practice
I have 22 years counselling/psychotherapy experience working with a variety of clients covering a wide range of issues. I work flexibly, integrating a range of approaches to meet client’s differing needs. I offer a confidential, non-judgemental and safe space where I work collaboratively with clients to understand their concerns deciding between us which approach might be most beneficial.
I have specialist training/knowledge in helping clients to resolve distress, anxiety and depression resulting from past and present difficult life experiences; working with trauma, relationship and identity issues. This includes LGBT, lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender clients. I have advanced accreditation in Gender, Sex & Relationship Diversity Therapy (GSRD) with Pink Therapy, Professional Certificates in Intimate Partner and psychosexual Therapy.
My practice is based in Aigburth. I use a sliding scale from £50-70 per 60 minute session. My working hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 9.30-5.30
Contact me to ask any questions and I will get back to you as soon as possible to discuss whether my approach would be of benefit to you. lucy.martin@gmx.co.uk
