About me and my therapy practice
Graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2015 with a BA(Hons) in Humanistic Counselling Practice, with a focus on the Person Centred approach.
Qualified as a Supervisor with the Sherwood Psycotherapy Training Institute in 2022
I currently work as a Therapist and Supervisor both in Private Practice, and with Nottingham Counselling Service as part of their volunteer and Supervisory team.
I support both student and qualified therapists, working individually and with groups.
I worked as a qualified Nurse for 25 years, before relinquishing my registration in 2021, to become a full time therapsist and supervisor.
Practice description
My approach to Supervision is a relational one.
I hope to create a safe environment for honest and open discourse around the work, and any factors which may impact the supervisees ability to deliver a sound experience for their clients.
Sharing my knowledge and experience in the support of supervisees with therapeutic and ethical challenges, whilst also working as peers in an active exchange of ideas.
My theoretical background is Humanistic, with a focus on the Person Centred approach.
I offer both individual and group sessions.

About me and my therapy practice
Choosing your Counsellor, making that phone call can be a daunting experience. I believe it's the bravest decision often made at the most difficult of times. I can provide a relationship without judgment, the opportunity to be heard, to reflect and examine the difficulties that are casting a shadow over your happiness. I believe the answers we seek are within each one of us and can be unearthed with care, compassion and respect.
I work within the Person Centred model, graduating in 2015 from the University of Nottingham with a BA in Humanistic Counselling Practice. I am a member of the BACP, abiding by their ethical framework.
I also worked as a Registered Nurse for 25 years with experience of caring for individuals experiencing various health related difficulties, including a cancer diagnosis.
I offer in person, online and telephone sessions.
£60 for 50 minutes. I have availability Monday to Friday including some evenings.
