About me and my therapy practice
I am trained to deliver Clinical Supervision in the Hawkins and Shohet 7 Eyed Model and I am currently offering supervision to counsellors and also to those working in supportive/pastoral care professions, especially within the education/health sectors. For counsellors, supervision is an essential professional requirement to ensure effective and ethical practice. Supervision can also help allied professionals to have a space to explore and reflect upon the impact of their work. As a Person-Centred supervisor my aim would be to always offer the core conditions of empathy, congruence and unconditional positive regard to ensure a supervisory relationship that is based on mutual respect, safety and trust.
I have extensive experience working with Adults & Young people in a variety of settings as well as experience of managing counselling provisions.
Practice description
I work primarily from a venue in Manchester City Centre, though also have satellite sites across Greater Manchester I can work from.

About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced counsellor supporting individuals across Greater Manchester
I am currently working for a National Mental Health Charity and have experience of supporting clients in a range of venues including workplace, schools and more clinical settings such as NHS venues. I have experience of working with both Adults and Young People (starting from age 5+).
I come at counselling from the person centred approach which means I believe you are the expert on you and ultimately trust that you will have the most appropriate insight into the solutions available. I know how challenging that must sound, "why would you need therapy, if you had all the answers?" but I believe sitting with someone who supports you in finding the right way for you is a powerful vehicle for change. I have also had further training in a variety of different approaches including solution focused and CBT approaches though my base approach is always person centred.
I work with a variety of issues though the majority of client who come to see me tend to be around relationships (family, friends, partner or workplace), mental health related issues such as anxiety, stress and low mood or around general development/direction. Feel free to contact if you want to explore whether we can work together on whatever is troubling you.

My first session
I always aim to speak to clients before we start working together, i don't charge for an initial conversation. An important part of this session is also to decide if we both feel we can work together. If we agree to moving forward together we will make a plan of what may be best suited for you and this will depend on the nature of what you may be seeking therapy for.
Our first session would be about exploring the challenges which may have contributed to you seeking therapy at this time. We will talk about the ways in which I may be able to help and work with you.
What I can help with
Addictions, Anger management, Anxiety, Bereavement, Child related issues, Depression, Health related issues, LGBTQ+ counselling, Loss, Men's issues, Personal development, Phobias, Redundancy, Relationships, Self esteem, Self-harm, Sex-related issues, Sexual identity, Sexuality, Stress, Vegan allied, Work related issues
