About me and my therapy practice
I believe that I can offer a professional supervision service, created and delivered dependant on the supervisee's needs and requirements. I like to be flexible, approachable and I like to offer a space that is inviting, warm, safe and confidential.
I hope supervisee's feel free enough to bring to supervision what they they need to work on, minimising relunctance, encouraging additional learning and hopefully an enjoyable experience for the attendee. I offer a space whereby supervisee's are able to work with anything that may be getting in the way of them working effectively and safely.
In addition to supervision I offer a professional and confidential service to clients and/or counselling professionals internationally and throughout Staffordshire, Cheshire, Derbyshire and Shropshire. My work over 20 years has been within charitable, public and private sectors. I also work with trainee Counsellor's who attend from Keele, Staffordshire and Wolverhampton University, this may be as a Counsellor or Supervisor.
I aim to help others to live and work in a happier and healthier environment, so that they can achieve theirs and their goals. I am fully qualified, Accredited and insured, and work within the framework of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am also an EMDR Europe Accredited Practitioner.
I have continued my professional development throughout my career and attend regular supervision in line with the BACP guidelines and offer supervision training courses. Please see website: www.thetherapyquarters.co.uk

About me and my therapy practice
Hi, my name is Karen Harrison, I remember searching for the right person to see, just like you are doing now. Scrolling through the many profiles on top of how you are feeling is probably something you could do without too. Trying to find the right Counsellor or Supervisor whether it’s your first time or not, can be a difficult step to make. I wanted someone who wouldn't judge me, would understand me and treat me with respect. I aim to offer the same to all clients I work with.
NOW WORKING IN A COVID SECURE WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND ABLE TO OFFER FACE TO FACE SESSIONS.
The Therapy Quarters aims to provide a professional and confidential service to clients throughout Staffordshire, Cheshire, Derbyshire and Shropshire. I also enjoy my work internationally offering counselling, trauma psychotherapy and supervision to clients and practitioners all over the world. My work over more than 20 years has been within charitable, public and private sectors. I also work with trainee Counsellor's who attend from Keele, Staffordshire and Wolverhampton University. in addition to supervising practitioners overseas. The experience gained throughout my career has also involved working with Emergency Blue Light services, Domestic Abuse services, and the NHS. I also taught for a number of years as a Counselling Lecturer in Staffordshire and worked providing training to external agencies and organisations.
I aim to help clients to live a happier and healthier life, so that you can achieve your goal. I work hard to establish a relationship where you feel respected, trusted and understood. I am fully qualified, Accredited and insured, providing sessions in a COVID secure working environment at The Therapy Quarters and work within the framework of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am also an Accredited EMDR Europe Practitioner.
I have continued my professional development throughout my career and attend regular supervision in line with the BACP guidelines.
