I became a supervisor because I was lucky enough to experience 'the magic' that can happen sometimes in supervision. 

I strive to support the growth of my supervisees & by doing so we can collaboratively monitor the safety and wellbeing of their clients/user group.  

I work with counsellors, social workers, support workers and crisis workers & managers within organisations. 

As in my counselling practice I believe the quality of the supervision relationship is vital to establish trust, safety & openness in the work. This supports exploration, mutual learning & from my experience creates a fruitful space to bring 'the dark corners' as well as the 'clear spaces'.

I believe everyone can benefit from having a safe place to share what they cannot hold alone anymore.

I have been counselling for over 20 years and recognise the  importance of establishing the relationship between counsellor and client.  This creates the foundation - safety; connection; openness; honesty; commitment - to do the therapy.

I make sense of my own experience of the world through imagery; humour; creativity; nature; tears; laughter and listening.

I bring these tools into my practice and I 'listen' to what's happening in our bodies as well our heads and work to support integration of these parts.

I  do not have a magic wand but I do strive to create a safe, confidential place with the hope of encouraging fresh insights and change to occur.

I have flexibility and experience to work face to face in my counselling room or outside walking on a local common or online.
