About me and my therapy practice
Supervision is a crucial aspect of clinical work, providing a space to reflect, discuss challenging cases, and gain deeper understanding and clarity around your work. I offer a collaborative and relational approach to supervision, helping you explore areas where you feel stuck and gain new perspectives within a supportive supervisory relationship.
About My Supervision Approach:
Reflective Space: Discuss your clients, explore challenging areas, and gain clarity.
Collaborative and Relational: Work together to view your work from different angles.
Wellbeing Focus: While supervision is not personal therapy, your wellbeing is prioritised to ensure you remain happy in your work and can best support your clients.
My Background and Qualifications:
Qualified as an integrative counsellor with Bath Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy in 2014.
Hold a BA (Hons) in Counselling and Society from the University of Wales 2008.
Experience as a therapeutic support worker in a youth therapeutic community, trauma and addiction specialist at The Southmead Project, and telephone counsellor for the Carers Support Centre.
Currently running a busy private practice in Clifton, Bristol, and online.
Specialisation and Suitability:
I work from an integrative approach, combining person-centred and psychodynamic theories, with a strong background in trauma. My supervision is ideal for therapists interested in relational work and trauma-informed practice.
