About me and my therapy practice

I offer supervision to counsellor supervisees and to trainee counsellor supervisees. My supervision work includes both private practitioners and working with organisations. I offer individual supervision to a therapist working in both private practice and those working in organisations.

I believe supervision should offer a safe space to explore client work and working on personal development. I work both face to face and online (online is something that I have offered for many years).

If you would like to explore working with myself could I suggest a brief conversation over the phone to establish booking an appointment? My fee for supervision is £50 per hour.

Please do get in touch if you are interested in arranging an initial session.

About me and my therapy practice

Thank you for visiting my page. I hope this small introduction gives you an insight into the work I do and how you can access support. I have worked as a therapist for 20 years now offering both F2F and online therapy. I was introduced to Zoom many years ago and therefore working online is something I’m very familiar with. Working on Zoom offers the benefit of sharing handouts and working together particularly when working with CBT.

It’s important to work with someone that you feel comfortable with so take your time, this shouldn't be rushed.

My core training was in Person-Centred but over the years I have integrative and incorporated a number of different therapy approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, EMDR, Attachment Theory and Psychodynamic.  During our first appointment, we would discuss which approach would be the most appropriate.

The first appointment is about finding out what you would like to work on in therapy, setting goals and then deciding how many sessions might be needed to reach your goals. This could be short-term work such as 6 sessions or long-term work between 12 - 24 sessions.

I think it is important to have a brief conversation over the phone before booking an appointment to get some indication of what you would like from therapy. So if you drop me an email I’ll send you a link and you can book a free 15 min call.

If you would like to know more about my services please do get in touch.
