About me and my therapy practice
First and foremost you will find me a warm and approachable human being! I have experience as an integrative and transpersonal Supervisor and undertook my training with Re-vision. I offer affordable supervision to Counsellors, Psychotherapists and Psychologists working within a broad range of theoretical approaches. I am a UKCP registered Psychotherapist. My Supervision fees reflect the fact that I am currently in the final stages of my UKCP accreditation for Supervision.
I believe that we are drawn to the work of Counselling and Psychotherapy for a deeper reason. The challenges and stumbling blocks we face as therapists offer us opportunities for both personal and professional growth, enabling, through the conduit of a creative and non-judgemental Supervision which includes metaphor, myth and imagination, the emergence of something soul-ful, and with it a more fulfilling and purposeful experience of our client work.
My desire is to bring growth and a transformative element to our work together. I will work thoughtfully and compassionately with whatever you wish bring to Supervision and I will always strive to attune to your needs, my aim being to help you to deepen your client work in a way which benefits both you and your clients.
I have a private Psychotherapy practice and keep up to date with emerging approaches and theories. My Psychotherapy background is rooted in Psychosynthesis. I am influenced by ISTDP, psychodynamic and Jungian thinking and am also interested in the work of Dr Gabor Mate and Byron Katie.
I recognise that the Supervision space can be a vulnerable one, and I provide a safe and non-judgemental atmosphere in which we can think together and arrive at clarity and expansion. If you are looking for Supervision which brings a fresh creative, imaginative and transpersonal perspective to your client work whilst enhancing the skills you already possess, then I would be happy to hear from you.
I offer Supervision both online and in person.

About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I'm Ally. I am an experienced Psychotherapist and Counsellor and am skilled in creating therapeutic relationships with my clients which are warm, empowering and affirming. My clients experience lasting improvements in all areas of life, most especially in their close relationships. I have a Masters degree in Psychotherapy, am trauma informed, and I am also a Clinical Supervisor, providing essential supervision to other therapists.
Whatever the challenges you're currently facing, I offer a safe and nurturing space where we can talk and explore together what is happening, and where you will feel supported and understood.
My training is in Psychosynthesis, which is a soulful and gentle approach. At its heart lies the understanding that in meeting and including our struggles and our pain, we become more fully ourselves and experience more moments of pure joy on a daily basis. Ultimately we find a more whole sense of Self - this is us coming home to our True Self; who we were always meant to be.
Practice description
How Psychotherapy can help
The aim of therapy in this context is to emerge from your difficulties with the confidence to follow your own path, and with a growing sense of kindness towards yourself. My approach is both down to earth and creative, and I draw on my experience to respond in the moment with what will be most helpful for you.
My experience includes working in a University with young adults, helping them with issues ranging from anxiety and depression to self harm and eating disorders, volunteering in a Women’s Refuge and running a private practice.
