About me and my therapy practice
As a Senior Accredited Supervisor, I provide one-to-one supervision and pair/group supervision for counsellors, therapists and other ‘people practitioners’ seeking a committed, collaborative and creative approach to supporting and developing their work with clients, patients and service-users.
A large part of my current practice is supervising a diverse range of practitioners working in schools, colleges, and public health. I also supervise trainee counsellors and established independent psychotherapists.
I hold a Diploma in Integrative Supervision and draw on over 20 years of varied therapeutic counselling experience including EAP, voluntary sector, local authority, NHS primary care, and private practice.
For several years I was a tutor and administrator for the Cambridge Supervision Training partnership, which ran accredited Diploma courses and CPD events for supervisors in the helping professions. With CST founders Anthea Millar and Penny Henderson, I co-authored Practical Supervision: How to Become a Supervisor for the Helping Professions (JKP 2014), and have written regularly about supervision for BACP's Private Practice journal.
Contact me at any time to discuss your professional requirements – if I’m not able to help you directly I might know someone who can.

About me and my therapy practice
Over 20 years experience. People from minority groups are very welcome.
Practice description
I offer conversational, creative, challenging and encouraging therapy for adults. Having studied different counselling methods - both traditional and radical - I’m versatile in my responses to the unique problems my clients want to overcome.
There are several contrasting “modalities” and “orientations” in the counselling and therapy field. I integrate powerful ideas from most of them. But what I value more than any particular psychological theory or counselling technique is being able to provide my clients with a reliable, meaningful, supportive and ethically confidential relationship through honest face-to-face therapeutic dialogue.
