About me and my therapy practice
I qualified as a therapist in 2005. I am an experienced person-centred/integrative counsellor. I work with both adults and children.
I sometimes use creative therapies in face to face sessions, particularly with young people.
I am a qualified EMDR therapist too.
I currently work in schools, universities, a women's project, charities and in private practice, where I see both adults and young people. I am a registered member of the BACP.
I am also a qualified yoga and meditation teacher, sometimes incorporating meditation and/or breathwork into sessions.
Practice description
I feel I am a warm, relaxed and approachable therapist.
In our first session, we would complete an initial assessment together, which gives us both the opportunity to see if we would work together well.
I’m currently working mostly online, but also sometimes face to face.
I have been living and working as a therapist in the Peckham and Camberwell area since 2006.
My first session
First sessions are an initial assessment session - for me to gather some background information. This will be relaxed and informal.
We look at if we think we can work together and what the client is hoping to get out of his/her/their therapy sessions.
