About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified supervisor and  BACP accredited counsellor with a wide range of  experience in the private sector, NHS and voluntary sector.  I aim to work congruently with my supervisees to help them work to their full potential, whether they be just starting out in counselling or highly experienced.  I work pluristically having initially trained as a person centred counsellor,  but subsequently in CBT, TA and SFT.  I would work with you in a non-judgmental environment to ensure your clients are receiving the best therapy you can offer.

Practice description

I work remotely via zoom which enables me to work with counsellors wherever they are based.  My own supervision is also conducted in this way, as is my client work.  I am happy to hold an initial meeting with potential supervises to ensure we contract clearly and to give the supervisee a feel for how I work.

About me and my therapy practice

I have been a practicing integrative counsellor for over 20 years, working in private practice, as a counsellor for the NHS and for charitable organisations.  I hold an MA in Counselling Studies, a Graduate Diploma in counselling plus certificates in, amongst others,  CBT, transactional analysis and online therapy.  I am an accredited member of BACP and therefore adhere to their ethical code.

I currently offer online and telephone counselling within my private practice.

For me, it is a vital part of the counselling process to build a safe and trusting relationship between counsellor and client so that the work I do can be carefully tailored to each individual person.  To summarise my approach is -

INDIVIDUAL COUNSELLING BECAUSE EVERY INDIVIDUAL IS UNIQUE.

Practice description

Online counselling provides an opportunity to explore a personal difficulty in a confidential and supportive environment. This may include expressing feelings that are painful and which many of us experience in our lives.

Online counselling gives you the opportunity to access counselling support at a time and in a place convenient to you.

I am happy to talk in more detail via phone or email if you would like to know more about how this service operates.
