About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified supervisor with a wealth of counselling experience working with individuals and couples to enhance working with fellow counsellors. I will also work with student counsellors. I work integratively with a core person-centered modality, incorporating psychodynamic, early attachment, and transactional analysis theories. Sessions will take place monthly for 90 minutes to suit the Supervisee’s needs.
Practice description
I work both virtually and face to face whatever is preferred or practical.
I work with the Hawkins and Shohet seven eyed model, where I help the counsellor take a wider perspective in order to support their work, as well as challenging their place in it.

About me and my therapy practice
Are you feeling stressed and confused, unable to see a way forward? NO problem is too big or too small. AND you are worth the investment.
I work virtually as well as face to face, particularly with couples. There is an increasing need for someone to understand and just to to be there, in that place of difficulty, and I am that counsellor.
My therapy is unique and compassionate for each person as we are all different. I specialise in relationships, stress and anxiety, self esteem and confidence, work related issues, eating disorders, early and ongoing trauma & loss and bereavement.
I am an integrative person-centred therapist with a lot of experience and knowledge. I use psychodynamic & attachment theory as well as transaction analysis skills to help look at where problems may spring from and to help clients grow in personal awareness. Sometimes a solution focused approach can be powerful too, working in the moment and setting future goals.
I can help people understand and make sense of their lives and to change what is possible, wherever they are. I am with each person at their point of need working with honesty and empathy, treating each client with non-judgemental respect and care.
I offer a safe place to grow and learn, in an environment of care and compassion. You are welcome to call me to arrange an initial appointment, where you can experience my way of working.
I work with Zoom so can accept clients from a wide geographical area. I am flexible regarding times to suit all needs. I see both individuals and couples, and clients from 16 upwards.
Practice description
My practice is a welcoming to all; and one where diversity and difference is celebrated and respected. You will be able to fully be yourself within a professional ethos and safe confidential boundaries.
Confidentiality is key to a strong and nourishing relationship, although does have its limits which are centred on safe-guarding. My job is to keep clients safe, as well as to allow them to become the best version of themselves.
My first session
This is a time to build on a relationship that will provide trust, safety and care and to understand what you are looking for and if you want to and are able to take the journey towards changing what is important for you.
My first session will be a nourishing place where we get to know one another and you can see how I work. Counselling can be a place to learn how to accept and let go of previous bad habits, learning new things about oneself. It is the most important journey of your life, finding out who you fully are!
