About me and my therapy practice

A warm welcome. If you're struggling with anxiety, stress, relationship issues or feeling stuck in life, you don’t have to go through it alone. Whatever is troubling you, let’s work together to support your healing. I offer counselling and psychotherapy in Rickmansworth (WD3) and online globally. With over 9 years of experience, including working in the NHS, I specialise in anxiety (incl. GAD, panic attacks, OCD, and health/social anxiety), trauma (inc. PTSD, C-PTSD), abuse, relationship challenges, anger management, sleep issues, depression, low mood and self-esteem issues.

Life can sometimes feel challenging, so it’s not surprising that at times we don’t feel OK. I'm here to support you. Lets work together to help you find clarity and navigate life’s challenges. I offer a safe space where you can explore your feelings and we can work together to support your healing and moving forward.

I offer one to one in-person therapy from a quiet, comfortable space in Rickmansworth (WD3), easily accessible from Watford, Northwood, Pinner, Ruislip, Chalfont, and Amersham. I also provide online therapy via video or phone, giving you flexibility to access support from anywhere.

I work with adults and young people (18+), including university students, offering therapy tailored to your needs.

By being in tune with your feelings and experiences, I’ll help you explore the root causes of your struggles and work towards meaningful change and inner peace.

My approach is client-centred, gentle and sufficiently challenging to help you grow, ensuring I work at a pace that suits you, tailoring my skills to match your needs.

I'm dedicated to valuing you as a unique individual, and safeguarding your privacy throughout our work together.

Practice description

I work in-person from a dedicated confidential space in Rickmansworth (WD3) and online for those further afield. My experience includes helping people from a diverse background, supporting them with a wide range of issues. I specialise in depression, stress, sadness, loneliness, and low mood, anxiety (including GAD, panic attacks, OCD, and health/social anxiety), trauma, and relationship issues, as well as anger management, low self-esteem, and sleep issues.

I can help you work through your triggers and develop effective coping strategies. Using a variety of techniques, I work collaboratively to identify what works best for you.

I have undergone specific trauma training and am able to see clients through the whole spectrum of trauma disorders. I also specialise in supporting survivors of childhood abuse and adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), exploring the connection between physical and psychological symptoms where appropriate.

I am trained in a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), EMDR (EMDR UK - approved training for trauma), Psychodynamic Therapy, Transactional Analysis, and Systemic Therapy - training with Tavistock & Portman NHS (for working with families and organisations). My approach is integrative, meaning I tailor therapy to suit your individual needs.

I'm an Anxiety UK approved counsellor having undertaken their specialist training in working with depression, anxiety and related issues.

My first session

I understand that starting therapy can feel daunting, and you may be unsure if it’s right for you. That’s why I offer a free 15-minute consultation where we can explore your concerns, and I can answer any questions you have.

The first session is an assessment session. We’ll take time to understand what’s going on for you, what you hope to achieve in therapy, and how we can work together. There will be no obligation for you to enter into therapy and you will not be pressured. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable with the therapist you choose to work with.
