About me and my therapy practice

If you’re facing anxiety or depression, trauma, menopause, long term illness/conditions or facing life’s transitions, know you’re not alone. Amidst the chaos, difficulties and pain, there is hope! I’m here to support you on your path to better things.

About me

Facing life’s challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma and transitions can leave us feeling shattered and lost, yet I believe in the resilience of the human spirit.

Before training as a counsellor, I have worked and continue to work with a diverse range of people as a nurse with over 30 years’ experience. Being a nurse and health visitor has enhanced my work as a counsellor, through witnessing the impact and demands that life events and the journey through new chapters have on people and their families both physically and emotionally.

I offer a compassionate and trauma informed approach to counselling.

How I can help

Trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions can cast a long shadow, impacting every facet of our lives. Whether you're struggling with flashbacks, panic attacks, or a sense of disconnect from the world, or experiencing the profound changes that come with life transitions, I provide a nurturing space where you can feel safe to explore your experiences and emotions.

My Approach

I understand that healing from and navigating life's challenges are deeply personal journeys. My approach integrates trauma-informed practice with a profound respect for your autonomy and inner strength. Together, we'll embark on a journey of healing and empowerment, reclaiming the sense of who you are and your self-worth.
