Practice description
Providing attentive, compassionate support to individuals navigating through challenging phases of life is the primary focus of my expertise.
Life often presents us with peculiar sensations or uncomfortable emotions. These sensations can at times become unbearable and overwhelming, turning each day into a struggle. There exist various potential triggers for our distress, stemming from uncertainties regarding choices we must make, questions about our identity, or desires. Our anguish can manifest in numerous forms.
Finding a safe, welcoming space to address a painful or peculiar experience in life can be challenging. When we ask for help, we have already made a choice to pursue a change. If you have made this choice, psychoanalysis can be one possible route to understanding the cause of your problem, while also offering effective treatment. Psychotherapy is an open-ended treatment and can be either short or long-term.
My first session
During the initial contact, I conduct a brief 30-minute interview at no charge. This allows us to establish a connection and discuss your needs and goals for therapy. I do not charge for this introductory session. Following our initial meeting, I typically recommend a minimum of 4 sessions per month, scheduled once a week, to provide continuity and momentum in our work together. Depending on your preferences and goals, I may also ask you to complete an assessment to gain a deeper understanding of your situation and tailor our sessions accordingly. If you have any specific requests or concerns about our first session, please feel free to let me know, and I'll do my best to accommodate them.
