About me and my therapy practice

I know that life can be difficult, I expect that's why you are here.

My aim is to support you in a confidential professional manner and together we will try to understand what is going on for you and try to find some resolve.

I believe therapy is a collaborative process, where we will explore the past to make sense of the present, cultivating awareness and coping skills to help you manage what can feel unmanageable.

I have experience working with:

Trauma, loss, depression, identity, anxiety, self harm, gender, addiction, abuse.

I am an experienced MBACP (Accred) fully qualified practicing psychotherapist and counsellor.

My qualifications are:

BA (Hons) Integrative Counselling The University of Greenwich, HEDIP Psychodynamic Counselling and psychotherapy The University of Greenwich, Access into Counselling Guildford College, at present studying towards PGDIP HIT CBT Therapist under the NHS.

Certificates in EMDR Richman EMDR Training (EMDR international association & EMDR Europe)

In addition, being a yoga practitioner also draws me to think about my clients holistically considering both mind and body. I believe our bodies can give us clues about what is going on when we are unable to verbalise. As well as talking therapy, I can offer mindfulness and breathing techniques which can be calming and reconnect the body and mind.

Practice description

My style is warm, non judgemental and congruent.  I aim to create a space where you can feel comfortable and safe enabling you to share and feel able to bring, all the parts of yourself on your therapeutic journey.

As an accredited member of the British association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) I have reached their requirements for a higher standard as a competent, ethical and independent practitioner. MBACP (Accred)
