About me and my therapy practice
I work with a wide variety of mental health challenges, emotional difficulties and interpersonal relationship issues. I work with adults of all ages, and offer short and long term therapy in both English and Russian.
My approach is psychodynamic and Jungian. Rooted in psychodynamic theory, my therapeutic approach involves exploring unconscious processes, childhood experiences, and interpersonal dynamics to bring insight and resolution to current struggles. Jungian approach opens up the possibility to work with your dreams and fantasies, and helps to understand yourself on a deeper level, and take care of your inner world, process psychological pain, and repair old wounds.
I am a member of the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC), UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), and a professional member of the Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling (FPC), and abide by their code of ethics.

About me and my therapy practice
I’m an experienced psychotherapist, and I have been working over 20 years in private practice. I work with adults of all ages and young people, individually and with couples, and offer therapy in both English and Russian. I work with a wide variety of mental health challenges, emotional difficulties and interpersonal relationship issues.
My approach is psychodynamic and Jungian. Rooted in psychodynamic theory, my therapeutic approach involves exploring unconscious processes, childhood experiences, and interpersonal dynamics to bring insight and resolution to current struggles. Jungian approach opens up the possibility to work with your dreams and fantasies, and helps to understand yourself on a deeper level, take care of your inner world, process psychological pain, and repair old wounds.
I have a particular and long standing interest in personality crisis, with a particular research in identity and midlife crises. Also I've been working for years with immigrants exploring different ways of adaptation and adjustment to new environment with a particular interest to multicultural therapy and social intelligence, and how changes affect family relationships. Another huge interest of mine is how exploring symbolic life and dreams unlocks creativity.
Currently I’m working online and face to face in a room in a short walking distance from King's Cross (WC1H) and in Rickmansworth (WD3).
Practice description
I work confidential, and no GP referral is necessary. If we decide to proceed, we will meet at a dedicated time each week for a 50-minute session. The therapeutic process requires continuity in order to be effective. It therefore involves sustained commitment from both parties and we would agree regular times to meet on the same days each week. Continuity is important and this time is kept for you. Therefore I do charge for all sessions that you miss or cancel, whatever the reason, and even when notice is given.
