About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified and experienced MBACP Counsellor and Psychotherapist, offering confidential therapy tailored to your unique needs, whether for individuals or couples. I provide both short and long-term sessions, available in person, online, or over the phone.
With a First-Class Honours degree in Pluralistic Person-Centred Counselling (Advanced Practitioner) from Middlesex University, a Diploma from The Metanoia Institute, and an Advanced Post-Diploma Certificate in Couples Therapy, my practice is rooted in continued training and professional development to ensure my approach remains effective and responsive.
I can work with a wide range of issues, including:
- Anxiety and depression
- Addiction and compulsive behaviours
- Trauma and relationship challenges
- Workplace or family stress
- Bereavement and loss
- The impact of neglect or abuse
- Neurodiversity-related challenges, including ADHD
- A sense of feeling unseen or misunderstood
My therapeutic approach is grounded in person-centred and pluralistic principles, providing a flexible, collaborative space to explore what feels most meaningful to you. Whether you're addressing immediate challenges or seeking deeper self-understanding, my aim is to create a warm, inclusive, and confidential environment where you feel heard, supported, and understood.
I have particular experience supporting clients navigating complex emotions, relationship or family dynamics, and navigating the pressures of work and family life. With a deep understanding of neurodiversity, especially ADHD, I help clients reconnect with their inner strengths and resilience when life feels overwhelming.
Together, we’ll work towards meaningful personal and relational growth, empowering you to navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence.
Practice description
As a pluralistic therapist, I am committed to working with you in a way that honours your unique needs, preferences, and goals - whether you’re seeking support as an individual or as part of a couple. I believe that no two journeys are the same, and our work together will always reflect your personal experiences and aspirations.
My approach centres on creating a non-judgemental, safe, and confidential space where you can share your thoughts, feelings, and experiences openly. This space is yours - a place where you can feel truly heard and valued without fear of judgment or pressure.
At a pace that feels comfortable for you, we’ll explore the challenges you’re facing, working together to deepen your insight, build resilience, and nurture a greater understanding of yourself and your relationships. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, or other life challenges, my aim is to support you in finding clarity and strength, empowering you to create meaningful change.
My first session
If anything I’ve shared resonates with you, or if you’re feeling uncertain and seeking change but unsure where to begin, therapy can be a valuable first step. Taking that first step might feel daunting, but it’s an opportunity to start exploring what’s happening in your life and what support might look like for you.
To make this process easier, I offer a complimentary 20-minute initial session, available online or by phone, with no pressure or obligation to continue. This session is designed to help you decide if therapy feels like the right path for you and whether my approach aligns with your needs.
In this introductory session, we’ll explore what has brought you to therapy, what you’re currently experiencing, and what you hope to achieve. It’s a chance for us to get to know each other, for you to share your concerns in a safe, confidential space, and to ask any questions about how I work. Together, we’ll consider what you want from therapy and how we might approach that journey.
We’ll adapt and shape the process throughout our work together to ensure it feels meaningful, supportive, and responsive to your needs. Therapy is a collaborative process, and my aim is to walk alongside you, providing the understanding and tools you need to navigate challenges and embrace change.
