I offer a fairly fast service and usually get rapid results, yet there are obviously no guarantees. I continue to research Mental Health, having just completed my second MA Researching Major Trauma and Spirituality. I am a Counsellor & Psychotherapist always eager to learn the latest techniques.

I offer face-to-face sessions at our offices and also regularly offer online sessions for the ex-pat or anyone overseas, or others having distance issues in UK.

I am now semi-retired and usually work in MK, Tuesday, to Friday, including most main holiday times. Usually not available in MK from Saturday through to Tuesday morning. 

I have a reception team at ACORN HOUSE, but clients are only seen by strict appointment. Out of hours attendance is also only possible for emergencies and by individual arrangements made.

Trauma Patients may be seen on an emergency basis, but still need to EMAIL/TEXT me first and then when an appointment is available, transfer funds to facilitate the booking of an initial assessment appointment, to arrange an emergency appointment.

All clients are encouraged to email and text me first, to send relevant information about booking appointments and instructions for attendance. By all means, text me your basic details, but please follow up with an email and then I will offer an initial appointment time, where we may unpack your issues together in safety.

My Psycho-TRAUMA Clinical practice, in MK and the practice in Harley Street have been operational for some 15 years and I have offered therapy to a good variety of different types of clients and patients. Prior to that, 25 years of pastoral counselling experience backs up my later psychotherapy training.

I have an office suite in ACORN HOUSE, Central Milton Keynes, which is also part of the Convergence College of Psychotherapy. The offices are very near to the MK City Church and the local Citizens Advice Bureau is also within Acorn House. 

PLEASE NOTE: I usually work with face-to-face therapy sessions but I am able to offer distance work online. I often work online with ex-pats in many different countries.

I have also helped patients with Major Trauma and everyday therapies at my Lifescript Clinic of Harley Street, in London, W1, for many years. Fees are more expensive there £300+ single session, but fees are much lower in MK, so it worth the trip.  

I have been given many testimonials from my clients over the years and have won some awards in those 15 years of general mental health work and healing practice. 

Incidentally, as the Clinical lead, I report we have been awarded a 'Citizens Pride Award' in MK and more recently a 'National Enterprise Award', for the NEWSTART Drop-In & Counselling Service, open for the general public, operating for 15 years here in CMK, on a pro-bono (volunteering) basis, for crisis listening & regular contracted counselling.  I am usually available there on a Wednesday afternoon.

Bookings: I cannot answer the phone whilst with patients, so please bear with me. It is preferred for you to EMAIL all your details and also TEXT a brief message. When calling (voicemail often gets delayed or lost) be sure to please follow it up with an email and a text message. I am very busy all the time, but usually TEXT answer within a couple of hours, certainly within 24 hours. I have a large turnover of clients, yet spaces are available regularly.

The first attended initial assessment fee is £99 in MK for a 50 minute hour, as an initial assessment, to unpack everything and agree your therapy needs. It is then from £99 for regular therapy sessions. Ten minutes for note making is also part of the normal regular therapy hour. Further therapy will be means tested and we will always try to help low income clients or patients. 

After filling in a simple client form to log your details, I will listen to your story and note any issues you explain and then discuss your goals or expectations and set out and agree a treatment plan tailor made for you.  You may also be shown de-stressing techniques, relevant to your situation in this first session.

I deal with chaotic clients & trauma patients. Therefore due to the nature of my work, booking fees are non-refundable. 

PLEASE NOTE: I have a 'NO Refund Policy' and initial fees must be transferred in advance of sessions, unless payments have been arranged in regular therapy sessions where we may arrange to pay cash of required.

Please prepare to make a bank transfer, once agreed to a time, book a session. 

You will be asked to email some feedback, in the processing time between appointments, regarding what you gained from our therapy sessions.

I offer a concessionary rate if you are coming from London as you will pay local rates and not London rates. You will save approximately nearly £200 on average for Trauma work.

London is available for a series of sessions in a block booking, but currently is only ONLINE, but it could save you money to attend in MK which is only 30 minutes from Euston MainLine Station where you may attend face to face at the Milton Keynes practice. 

London - Weekdays open from 11am to 3pm each day.

I get great results Fast, by helping you through Trauma / Anxiety. Why suffer in silence? I really love to treat and see my patients getting released from Major Traumas.  Many of my patients cry with joy. I get so excited to see their pain released, they celebrate their release, often after many years of suffering. My clients report great results with anxieties, often from the first session. 

I offer a 50 minute hour initially, unless it is for couples therapy work where it is usual practice to book a double session, of one hour and forty minutes duration, because we often have to gently unpack and pick our way through issues to enable us all to decide on and agree a plan if we are going to work together.

A single Major PTSD Trauma event may often be dealt with in one or two double sessions of trauma therapy although regular single session for longer duration will probably be needed to work through the post trauma fall out or underlying mental health or work/relationship issues caused. However, once it is established that we are dealing with Major Complex Trauma work, we will need to book double sessions, of 1 hour and 40 minutes duration each going forward. It is usual to book 6 double sessions

You will also need to come wearing a mask and also wearing gloves. You will need to wash your hands before the session at the Harley Street office and to sign to say that you have not been tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 2 weeks.

Once your initial consultation session is agreed you may deal with the initial consultation Fee online, by Bank Transfer, though in certain emergencies I do offer credit / debit card payments on attendance, but a small admin cost applies each time for this service. You may pay by card going forward if this suits your overall financial situation. There is a reduction for a single payment on a block booking of 6 sessions for Trauma. please ask for details.

Face to face single and group work.

Supervision can also be on Zoom - Whatsapp, or Skype, when there are difficulties in attending the office for face to face appointments.
