About me and my therapy practice
I trained as a psychotherapist later in life following my own experience of how therapy can help us to cope with the challenges we face. My emphasis is on developing a trusting relationship which allows us to work together to explore and make sense of how you are experiencing your problems. I offer a space to be curious and compassionate which can facilitate a shift in your understanding and hence a sense of possibility.
Practice description
I have a pragmatic approach and a deep respect for clients’ ways of seeing the world which has allowed me to work with a wide variety of clients in low-cost centres as well as in private practice. I hope that I am warm and have an informal but direct way of being.
My qualification is in Existential Phenomenological Therapy, which is grounded in philosophy.
My first session
I suggest a free short online introductory session to meet and talk about how and if we would like to work together.
