Loneliness affects millions of people every year and can have a huge impact on their mental health and wellbeing.

This has been intensified by the COVID-19 pandemic, which left many people feeling socially isolated, and unable to connect and build relationships with others.

This year’s Mental Health Awareness Week aims to raise awareness of loneliness, reduce stigma and look at what can be done to combat it.

Our members have shared their thoughts about loneliness in these blogs, addressing their own personal experiences of loneliness and how it's been addressed in the counselling room as well as what can help those who are struggling with loneliness.
