As some of you may be aware, our Chief Executive Officer Hadyn Williams has been away from the business for a period of time.
On Friday 30 September, Hadyn tendered his resignation with immediate effect.
Whilst the Board of Trustees had hoped to support Hadyn in returning to the business, we fully respect his decision and wish him the very best for the future.
The Board are now in the process of recruiting an interim CEO to manage the immediate needs of the organisation.
This will be a short-term appointment which will ensure that BACP is able to continue to meet all of its operational, strategic and charitable responsibilities.
We are actively recruiting for this interim role via a specialist agency which understands the specific skills and qualities needed from an individual joining an organisation in a situation of this kind. We anticipate that our interim CEO will join the organisation from November.
They will join us at an extremely important point in our journey as an Association. Our current organisational strategy draws to a close later this year, and a significant project is underway to define our strategic vision for the next five years. Our interim CEO will steer us through the transition to a new strategy.
In time we will, of course, look to recruit permanently to this hugely important role.
We’ll update you with more information as soon as we’re able to do so.
Thank you for your continued support.
Natalie Bailey
Chair of Trustees
