Our Workforce Lead Kris Ambler will take part in webinar exploring the lessons that can be learned from key workers and frontline staff about burnout.
The free lunch and learn session is titled Protect your workforce against the impending risk of burnout – what all HR and Wellbeing Leaders can learn from frontline employers.
Kris said was keen take part to promote the value of workplace counselling to an audience of HR professionals, business leaders and other key stakeholders.
He said: “Businesses have a duty to provide their workforces with an ecosystem of support tailored to meet the demands, challenges, and context within which people work.
"Counselling and psychotherapy are a vital part of this support framework, offering employees a safe and confidential space to talk about the issues that affect their ability to perform to the best of their capabilities”.
It takes place on Wednesday 27 April from 12.30pm to 1.30pm and will explore:
- How to identify the hidden risks bubbling out of sight within your workforce and those you need to start addressing today.
- What’s been tried and tested in high pressure environments, with additional professional clinical insights, to identify strategies you can apply in your business.
- How you can augment your company’s mental health support systems to safeguard your workforce in the coming 12 months. And what you can focus on to maintain your business continuity.
Kris will join Dr Lynne Green, Chief Clinical Officer of Kooth Work; Sarah Greswolde, Mental Wellbeing Practitioner of West Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust; and Jonathan Stuart, Mind’s Workplace Wellbeing Specialist for the session, which is supported by our organisational member Kooth.
