As part of ongoing development of our Ethics Services we're inviting tenders for the role of Couples and Relationship Ethics Consultant.
The role will involve providing telephone consultations for BACP members working as couples and relationship practitioners, assisting them with ethical dilemmas and supporting ethical decision making. Consultations will be structured around our 12-step Ethical decision making model, as described in Good Practice in Action resource 044.
The consultant will also provide guidance and specialist knowledge to help us maintain up to date resources and guidance for members in couple and relationship practice.
The contract will be for seven hours a week, split over three days. Starting in January 2022, it will initially last for 12 months but may be extended if the service is successful.
To apply, you'll need to be BACP accredited or equivalent, with training and extensive post-qualifying experience as a couples and relationship counsellor or psychotherapist. You'll also need an excellent understanding of current BACP Ethical Framework and a working knowledge of our Good Practice in Action resources.
