Our work to support members through the pandemic was highly commended at a membership excellence awards last night.
The Memcom Excellence Awards praised our Member and Public Covid-19 Response (MaPCoR) campaign, which was shortlisted in the Best Member Support During COVID-19 – Small Organisation category.
We were also shortlisted for the Best Magazine with a circulation of more than 20,000 with Therapy Today, while the BACP Workplace journal was up for Best Magazine with a circulation of fewer than 20,000.
Support members
Our MaPCoR campaign aimed to anticipate, identify and fulfil the changing needs of our members and their clients to create the best possible experience during the pandemic.
Our team delivered a comprehensive set of resources for members, including a dedicated COVID-19 microsite.
This suite was the central point for our member and public COVID-19 engagement and included key communications, resources, events and guidance. We also produced a range of FAQs and guidance, regular temperature-check surveys, webinars, news and training.
Hadyn Williams, our Chief Executive, said: “We’ve worked extremely hard to support our members and help them navigate the pandemic.
Challenging period
“It’s been an incredibly challenging period for our members, and we’ve been there for them throughout with updates, resources and support.
“It’s fantastic to see that commitment, skill and hard work recognised at the Memcom Excellence Awards.”
