This year’s AGM is being held at The Lowry, in Salford, Greater Manchester.
The morning features on of our free Making Connections event, which provide our members a chance to discuss a range of topics with each other and our staff.
The keynote speaker will be Professor Tim Bond, who is stepping down from his role as our ethics consultant.
The title of his talk is The quest for an ethic to unite our profession.
The AGM will start at 2pm and will include a review of the year by our outgoing Chair Andrew Reeves, who will also chair a Q&A session with members of the board.
The keynote speech will be delivered by Figen Murray, whose son Martyn Hett was one of 23 people who died at the Manchester Arena attack on 22nd May 2017
Figen will talk about resilience and forgiveness and how she now goes into schools, colleges and universities telling her personal story.
