“I wish I had known about counselling earlier,” says Rose Mulloy, after a service in her home city of Glasgow helped change her life.
“I get to look at things differently now.”
Rose, 61, turned to Lifelink to help her deal with a series of traumatic life events. Hear her powerful story and about her counselling journey in the video below.
Lifelink delivers stress, mental and emotional management services for young people and adults, and supports people to make positive changes to their lives.
Chief executive Jacqui Taylor said Lifelink has grown enormously since it was established in 1992.
“Over the years we have seen huge demand for the services,” said Jacqui. “There is always a waiting list.”
She added: “We have tried to look at how we deliver counselling in different ways so you don’t always have to come into the office, face-to-face.”
