The Counselling and Family Centre has been at the heart of Altrincham for more than 40 years.
Jo Allen, CFC chief executive, said: “We offer counselling for children from the age of five upwards, for adults, for couples, for families.
“We have taken on counsellors who speak Urdu, Punjabi, Farsi, Arabic. We have male and female counsellors.
“Our mission is to make it easy for somebody coming into us to find what they need.”
The centre is fully BACP-accredited and is home to Café in the Park, which provides a hub for the local community with any proceeds going back into the CFC’s services.
Meet Jo, counsellor Peter Walters and café manager Pauline Oldham, some of the people who help CFC thrive.
