We're inviting all members to support or comment on the resolutions and motions submitted for our Annual General Meeting, to be held on 16 November in Birmingham.
This is the first stage in the resolutions and motions process. Resolutions which receive approval from 5% of our members will be put to the vote of all members at the AGM. Motions need the support of 0.1% of members.
Proposers are seeking your support for two resolutions and three motions.
Resolutions
- valuing non-medical counselling and psychotherapy
- changes to the accreditation standard
Motions
- valuing non-medical counselling and psychotherapy
- supervision in the education profession
- research on the impact of culture on mental health
You can find out full details, and give your support for the proposals, on our members' motions and resolutions site.
You can also discuss the proposals on our members' forum. This site is for respectful discussion between members. You're welcome to share your own views on social media or other websites, but please don't publish comments from other members without their permission.
The deadline for giving your views is noon on 12 October. Both sites are hosted by MiVoice.
