Topic: Digital Dilemmas: A Discussion About Ethical Decision-Making in Social Media and Messaging for Therapists.
As digital communication becomes an integral part of therapeutic practice, therapists must navigate the ethical challenges posed by social media and messaging apps. We will explore real-life scenarios and dilemmas therapists face such as maintaining professional boundaries, ensuring client confidentiality and managing digital footprints. Drawing on current UK guidelines from the BACP and British Psychological Society.
As always, there will be plenty of time for networking.
We have a Private Practice community on the BACP Communities of Practice discussion forum which may be of interest following this meeting. You will find the communities here: Communities of Practice
Location: Online
