A Compass and No Anchor

An Exploration of the Lived Experience of Culturally Homeless Psychotherapists

Does this resonate with you?

Do you identify as culturally homeless due to exposure to multiple cultures in your life?

Are you or have you been an immigrant?

Are you a qualified or trainee counsellor/psychotherapist?

If so, I would very much like to hear from you with a view to inviting you to participate in my MA research.

You will need……

  • To be a trainee or qualified therapist (psychotherapist or counsellor)
  • To identify as Culturally Homeless
  • To have experienced exposure to multiple cultures due to voluntary migration
  • To be prepared to explore the therapeutic phenomena/dynamics occurring with this identity
  • To be willing to share your reflections and attempts to make meanings of your experience
