Can the support that people experienced whilst going through trauma on a counselling and psychotherapy course be improved – and if so, how can this be improved?
Hey everyone,
My name is Rowanne Carberry and I'm in my final year of my Counselling and Psychotherapy MA at the University of Cumbria.
For my dissertation, I'm carrying out a study which looks at the experiences of support students had whilst going through trauma whilst on a counselling and psychotherapy MA, and to look at if this can be improved, and if so, how?
The research will be carried out via Teams for a 60-90minute semi structured interview.
Participants should be 18 and above, have studied on a counselling and psychotherapy MA, and have felt like they have experienced a trauma whilst on the course. The trauma does not have to be related to the course, and you do not need to have any trauma related diagnosis.
