About Me: My name is Louise. I am studying for a BA Hons Degree in Integrative Counselling at NCC College in Hornchurch, Essex.

What is the Research Project about? I am exploring female counsellor’s experiences of being diagnosed with ADHD in adulthood and the potential impact on the therapeutic relationship.

Who can take part? I am looking for female participants who are members of the BACP who are practicing counsellors and have been diagnosed with ADHD as an adult.

How will I manage data collection? 4 participants will be interviewed separately via Microsoft teams, the interview will be no longer than one hour. One week prior to the interview I will email the list of ten questions that will be discussed during the semi-structured interview. For anonymity you will not be required to use your own name, and you may have the camera off for comfort whilst participating. All personal details provided will be kept confidential and all data will be anonymised. The interview will be recorded and transcribed and I will use Thematic Analysis to analyse the data.
