A Phenomenological Study of the Experience of Supervision for Qualified Therapists

Are you a counsellor or psychotherapist:

  • With 5+ years' experience post qualification (minimum diploma level)?
  • Who is a member of a professional body, such as BACP or UKCP?
  • Attending regular individual supervision (minimum monthly)?
  • Are you willing to spare an hour to talk about your experiences of supervision?

The research:

I’m exploring the experience of supervision for qualified therapists as part of a master’s qualification in Integrative Psychotherapy at the Minster Centre, which will be awarded by the University of Middlesex. The Minster Centre’s Ethics Committee has approved my research, which will follow the BACP’s ethical guidelines.

What’s involved:

Taking part involves a semi-structured interview that would be recorded via Zoom. All information is confidential and will be anonymised and securely stored.
