Exploring the impact of bereavement counselling for “adult orphans” – individuals who lost both parents prematurely in adulthood: a qualitative study

I am conducting research on the experience of being an “adult orphan”. I require participants to be part of my study.
Title: Exploring the impact of bereavement counselling for “adult orphans” – individuals who lost both parents prematurely in adulthood: a qualitative study.
Do you fit the following criteria:
- Age 18+
- Live in the UK
- Fluent in English (Inc. written, spoken and reading comprehension)
- Bereaved of both parents (inc. guardians/caregivers/stepparents etc) during your adulthood (18+)
- Both parents passed before the UK average life expectancy (78 years male & 82 years female)
- The loss of both parents must have occurred before April 2024
- You attended a minimum of 6 bereavement therapy sessions specifically addressing parental loss, and you are not in therapy at present.
- You are willing to participate and provide consent to partake in a one-off interview via Microsoft Teams
